Amanda was born in the country suburbs of Victoria, and from a very young age had a passion for performing. Born into a creative family of artists and musicians, creative expression was a big part of Amanda's life growing up. Amanda moved to the Gold Coast, QLD, with her family as a child before starting training in the performing arts; dance and screen acting.Amanda made her first appearance on set in an Australian television series at age 9, which truly ignited her passion for acting for film & television. Over the next few years Amanda completed roles in short films, commercial, and television series as well as continuing her training in the craft. Originally training under the Lee Strasberg method for 3 years, Amanda now includes techniques from Eric Morris and Ivana Chubbuck. With a strong impressibility, Amanda is able to deliver strong truthful performances of her characters, and strives to share the true emotional journey with the audience.With a taste for adventure and living a fulfilling life, Amanda is an avid explorer, a wife and mother of 2, a successful business owner and a self confessed 'go-getter'. Having a passion for exploring and adventure has provided a drive for Amanda to continue building her skill-sets over the years to include a great range of varied abilities, including an American Accent, public speaking and presenting, theatrical stunt fighting and becoming a qualified scuba diver to name a few. Amanda continues to work on her skill-sets and is constantly chasing the next goal to accomplish. Hide
