Benjamin is a career actor with a focus on film. He thrives on speculative fiction such as Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Horror, Cyberpunk, etc., and has had roles in most of those genres, among others.While often playing the expected role of villain, he has also been portrayed as an honorable character in a dark place, while others have seen him as a reformed villain or anti-hero. As he says, sometimes it takes a villain to do the right thing.Training steadily and diligently is key to his strategy for success in his chosen field. He has studied with coaches such as Marco Perella and Tony Sears, among many others, and believes that a professional is one who never stops learning.He grew up on such stories as Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, Swords and Sorcery novels by Fritz Lieber and Robert E. Howard, classic monster tales such as Frankenstein and Dracula, and mythology/folk tales from around the world. He has a longtime appreciation for graphic novels and comic books, and is an avid movie buff.
