Brian Ruppert was born in 1974 in Michigan and raised in Troy, Michigan. His mother's name is Geraldine Adams. His father, Michael Ruppert, worked in engineering with Ford and Jaguar in Dearborn. He has two older sisters, Dr. MaryBeth Steele and Michelle Ruppert. At Troy High School, Ruppert lettered in varsity soccer, track, and marching band. Ruppert attended and graduated Michigan State University, where he majored in economics with a focus in English. He occasionally acted in community theatre. He left Michigan after graduating to move to California.
