She spent two years as a performer- writing and acting in 6 productions where she garnered critical praise. After moving to Los Angeles, she continued her stage work- working extensively with The East LA Classic Theater's productions of A Midsummer Nights Dream and Much Ado About Nothing directed by Tony Plana (Ugly Betty/Madam Secretary), as well as the Open Fist Theater company.Within a few years of living in Los Angeles, Catherine was asked to be a part of a one-man stage show starring Larry Joe Campbell (According to Jim) that offered her the opportunity to work in comedy again.
