Cori was born in Pasay City, Philippines and immigrated to Maryland at the age of four. She studied piano and voice in her youth and joined various drama clubs throughout her childhood and adolescence. Following high school, she earned her Associate of Arts in Music Performance from Howard Community College in Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Theater Studies from Towson University.She worked as a stage actor throughout Maryland and DC, primarily in Baltimore. She eventually began booking on-camera work and appeared in several regional and national commercials and print ads before she began training and working at McKinnon Acting Studios. Cori signed with CMA Management in November of 2016 and began working as a New York based actor soon after.Cori's first television appearance was for an episode of Deadly Affairs (2014), in which she played a young, domestically abused mother. In the fall of 2018, Netflix/Marvel released its highly anticipated third season of the popular series Daredevil; Cori appeared in episode 9 as the crime boss Sophia Carter.She wrote her first short film, Accountability, in the fall of 2017. It was produced in 2018 and shot October of that year. Cori co-starred and co-produced the film with actress and producer Vanita Kalra; it was directed co-produced by Stan Kang. It is slated for a 2019 release. She continues to work as an actor in both NYC and DC. Hide
