Johanna Thea is a professional actress, fashion, lifestyle & commercial model and published author from Ireland, who is now based between London and Los Angeles.In 2016 she worked with Director Steven Spielberg as a body double on Ready Player One , Jim O'Hanlon and James Hawes on the BBC UK & America series "Undercover", was cast as the female lead Ewa in the indie film, and guerrilla web-series RESOLVE, for which she received a best actress award nomination from Screennation.In early 2018 she broke into feature film roles when she was flown to Venice to play the leading males vengeful daughter, Shaman Jasmine in F*ck You Immortality. She also broke into BBC TV roles when she played an mi5 agent in "Joe All Alone", later going on to be cast as malevolent Tanya in feature film "Red Devil". She plays Rachel the lead, a psychopath in Psycho-Therapy, a brief stricken orphan in part animation Jellyfish, angered nurse Maria in dark thriller "The Good Boy", among other roles. Commercially she has been cast in campaigns for Range Rover, AMEX, Smartmeter, TUI, and more, as well as shooting for acclaimed eco-friendly fashion brand José Hendo.Johanna Thea is cast as the romantic lead, Sofia in a dramatic new web series now filming (2018/2019). Meanwhile her autobiography "If Only You Knew", which was first published at the end of January 2015, is currently being re-edited with a new pre-release date of January 2019.Excitingly 2019 sees her starring as lead actress in two independent psychological thrillers, written and co-produced by her. The first is entitled "Our Hope", with the second "Riding High" which is more action based with plenty of fight scenes.
