Justin was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and was a popular figure in the local entertainment scene as a musician, producer and promoter. He attended Kent State University for several years as a journalism major before he decided to switch to studying audio engineering at Full Sail in Orlando, FL. After graduation he moved to Los Angeles and worked for several years at the world famous NRG Recording Services before opening up his own recording studio, Timares Productions in 2001. Justin also worked on several student and independent films including the cult classic Trancers 6 and spent several years in a popular LA rock band called Sickwater.Justin, along with partners Charlie DeMarco and Chris Queen ran a daily satirical website for several years called The Phat Phree that gained widespread acclaim throughout the comedy world. His writing and involvement with the site helped him, along with several other writers, become published in 2006 in the Broadway/Random House book "Look At My Striped Shirt". In conjunction with his writing partner Charlie DeMarco and Ashton Kutcher's Katalyst Films he also sold a sitcom to 20th Century Fox called "Chronicles Of Wasted Life", which has to date not been made into a pilot. His company Phamily Business Entertainment, LLC was represented by Endeavor and was in development on several comedy related projects with Happy Madison, MTV Films, Sony and Paramount.During the writer's strike, Justin shifted his attention to reality TV and never looked back. He started his reality career working audio for Pilgrim Films on shows like Dirty Jobs, American Hotrod, Only In America with Larry The Cable Guy, The Ultimate Fighter and more. But it wasn't long before he was tapped to start producing shows himself. He has produced shows for Discovery Networks, OWN, History, Nat Geo, and Food Network like "Airplane Repo", "Harvest", "Hell On The Highway","6 Little McGhees", "Police Women of Dallas", and "Fat Chef".
