Laird was born in North Vancouver, BC, and lives in Surrey, BC with his family. Laird is an active kid, participating in a variety of sports. He has a particular passion for ice hockey, playing the position of Goalie on his Atom rep team. During the off-season he plays competitive Lacrosse. Laird also enjoys wake boarding, wake surfing, snow boarding and basketball, as well as hip hop, guitar and voice. He enjoys school, especially gym, and values his academics. Fun fact - can solve the 2x2, 3x3 and 4x4 Rubiks cube's. His record for the 3x3 is 43 seconds.Laird has a passion for acting and performing. He recently appeared in the Pfizer commercial for Eucrisa as the "Fisherman Boy". He also has various voice over credits including the voice of Brad on the PBS Series Plumb Landing, young Kenny on the animated series of Corner Gas, and several radio commercials.
