Originally from Minnesota, by way of New Hampshire, Max graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami with a dual degree in Motion Pictures and English. During his time in Miami, Max developed an interest in sketch comedy while writing and performing for Off the Wire, an independent late night comedy show. He went on to host the 2010 season, which earned the award for Best Comedy Program from the National Broadcasting Society.Max began his time in New York at Late Show with David Letterman, and has contributed to comedy mainstays such as Upright Citizens Brigade and Funny or Die. In addition to film and video work, Max has worked extensively in immersive theatre, including the Drama Desk Award-winning Queen of the Night and several critically-acclaimed productions with Exquisite Corpse Company.
