Born in Patchogue, New York, Michael studied TV and Film Production at Marist College, graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Communications. While there, he wrote and performed in the sketch/improv comedy troupe, wrote a weekly column for the newspaper, acted for the college TV station and hosted a weekly radio show. After college, Michael studied acting with Dena Levy, Stuart Burney, William Esper and John Dappolito.While honing his skills as an actor, Michael polished his prose as a writer in various literary arenas including; screenplays, teleplays, fiction and essays. He completed his memoir The Burnout Chronicles in 2005, the same year his screenplay Inspiration Therapy was optioned by World Film Services. He has written four pilots, twelve screenplays and two books. Michael has acted in several independent features including Tracks with Ice-T and starred in two national commercials. Maybe Tomorrow is his directorial debut. Having written the script, he also co-produced and co-starred in the film.
