Monica Joelle is an actress, singer/songwriter, dancer, and model. She is seventeen years old, born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. Many say that Monica is bubbly, creative, and fun to be around. She attends an online cyber school so she can have more flexible time to pursue acting. She is a triple threat and a force to be reckoned with. Whether it's a commercial or a movie, background or a leading role, she always finds her way to a camera! Monica was in her school choir for three years and received a few solos. She just finished filming her role in a Madam Secretary on CBS. She has taken acting classes at Kathy Wickline Casting. She has taken acting and musical theater classes at the Arden Theater Company and attends an after-school Showstoppers Musical Theater Program at the world renowned Kimmel Center. When she was just four years old, Monica discovered interest in dancing and the performing arts. It was at this point she began formal dance training in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Hip-Hop, African and Indian dance classes where she began developing and refining her confidence in front of audiences. She has been dancing for local audiences for the last four years as a member of the NBA Philadelphia 76ers Junior Teen Dream Team from 2010 to 2014. It was also at this age that Monica began intensive training in Acting. Her training provided an outlet to be a fortunate precursor for the start of Monica's professional acting career. "I don't use my talent to become rich and famous. I do it because I love it so much that I would spend every minute for the rest of my life, putting a smile on everyone's face when I perform." -Monica. In looking ahead, Monica is looking to pursue acting and a career in the arts. She aims to be one of the best and most influential actresses and pop singer/songwriter in the world.
