Richard was born in Bangor, Wales while his New Zealand parents, Ian and Sue Mills, were on contract working in Anglesey on a construction project. The family moved back to Wellington, New Zealand while Richard was still a baby and have lived here ever since. The family moved around as Richard's father worked different civil engineering jobs, living for a few years each in Auckland, Taranaki, Bay of Plenty and then settling back in Wellington.Richard has worked in banking, insurance, sales, call centers, Audio/Visual, modeling and Acting, and has also operated as a mobile DJ and Master of Ceremonies since 1986, a passion he still pursues. Richard is also a independent Marriage Celebrant in New Zealand and is licensed to perform wedding ceremonies for straight and same sex couples.Richard is an enthusiastic salt water fisherman, a highly experienced scuba diver and enjoys snow skiing, running with his dog and driving. He married his wife, Tracey-Leigh in 2014 and has three boys to an earlier marriage, Benjamin, Cameron and Toby. Hide
