In a sensational and energizing atmosphere, this film pursues an ex-boxer named Joe Romano who left the game after the disastrous demise of his son. His life turns out to be so pitiful and he ends up alcoholic. At some point, his closest companion, Jimmy, urges him to beat this misery and makes him come back to the boxing field once more.
