Attack (1956)
In a strategic area National Guard infantry company must found artillery observation post to defense and make some attacks, so Eddie Albert, a cowardly captain, is in command because his relations on united states and one day he sends Lt. Palance and his men in a serious mission without plans or reinforce them to forfeit this combat.

One of Robert Aldrich's best films, this dark, grim, cynical portrait of infantry warfare in 1944 Belgium is extremely well acted by Jack Palance, Lee Marvin, Eddie Albert and the rest of the male cast.
