The movie follows 8 students at an exclusive private school who decide to have some fun by creating an urban legend and seeing how far it will spread. But when their wish begins to come true, the teens must find their way out of their own death methods before its too late.

Is there anything scarier than a threatening text message? Sure: Werewolves, vampires, killer diseases, and comedies written by and starring Jenny McCarthy come immediately to mind.

It attempts to be taken as a slasher film but it's not a slasher whatsoever, it's a gigantic tease.
