Kit (Sarah Lane) and her best friend, Libby (Andi Garrett), are two teenage girls bored while baby-sitting. To pass the time, they innocently spend an evening doing random crank calls. These calls lead to murderous consequences.

Castle frequently employed gimmicks to promote his movies -- "Percepto" for The Tingler, "Emergo" for House on Haunted Hill, etc. -- but with this nifty thriller, the closest thing to a gimmick is the ingenious plot itself.
