Lethal Weapon
Working on the same case of the murder of a young girl strengthen the friendship of two depressed and contradicted cops, who struggle against the boring life they have, as they have to cooperate in order to solve the case and they mange to find out a dangerous drugs gang, the thing that leads them to be well known cops.

What this premise needs is a serviceable plot, but screenwriter Shane Block hasn't provided one. Indeed, for an action thriller, Lethal Weapon is unacceptably slow.
