Driving by his deep will of revealing the truth and sue the suspect, a young courageous and intelligent black detective, does his work well and follows each small detail, in order to reach the truth, investigates in the large amount of money that has been lost, the thing that brings terrible for him and puts him in dilemma with the dangerous drug dealer.

In terms of action, Wayans the director relies too much on slow-motion in shooting action scenes -- a tiresome habit that undercuts the potential excitement of some sequences.
