Description
MIDNIGHT SUN is a romantic tearjerker about 17-year-old Katie Price (Bella Thorne), sheltered at home since childhood with a rare genetic condition, a life-threatening sensitivity to sunlight. Having only her father Jack (Rob Riggle) for company, Katie's world opens up after dark when she ventures outside to play her guitar. Forced to act beside this handsome stick of furniture, Bela Thorne, who sings bland songs and delivers blander dialogue as Katy Price, comes across as the reincarnation of both Barbara Stanwyck and Judy Garland. She's grand. She'll survive.

The ending of Midnight Sun is more of an eyeroller than a tearjerker. This film will have a very particular audience, and you'll know if you're a member of it. If not, stay away.
