Ponyo
A goldfish princess encounters a human boy named Sosuke who named her Ponyo. Now she longs to become a human, but a series of adventures results in spills of a collection of magical elixirs that endanger Sosuke's village.

Not as profound as Miyazaki's other works, but the fact that an animated children's film actually has the brains to go for larger, resonant themes is worth congratulation.
