The Keeper (Trautmann)
The film explores the story of Margaret Friar, the daughter of the manager of the local football team. One day, Margaret meets young German soldier Bert Trautman. Margret's father was so impressed with Bert's ingenuity as a goalkeeper that he took him out of the camp to play for the team. It is a different story between a German prisoner of war and a young woman facing public hostility with the end of World War II.
