C'mon, Homeland! Just when I think you've pulled everything back in line --or at least reasonably back in line -- you have to throw a 24-style curveball. And this episode was actually reasonably rock-solid until that final reveal.

After some bumps here and there, Homeland has constructed quite the turn of events as it enters the last third of the season. Carrie was correct --things are going to get so much worse. Hopefully the show just continues to get better.

Despite the fact Homeland hasn't revealed all of its Season 4 secrets, it's nice to finally see where the season is heading and that the manipulation of Carrie, capture of Saul and chase after Haqqani are all three pieces of the same puzzle.

This was another strong episode of Homeland that managed to maintain the tension surrounding the rescue of Saul while also setting up a doozy of a cliffhanger.

Talk about truth in advertising: The writers behind Sunday's episode of Homeland telegraphed a big clue by titling the episode, "There's Something Else Going on." (And) damn, there really was something else going on.

Well, that was terrifying. Leave it to Showtime's best terrorism-themed thrill ride (outside of Californication) to wring as much suspense from whether Saul will take a phone call from his wife as it does from a missile attack.
