Earlier this week on Twitter, Time critic James Poniewozik confessed that he finds the two marriages in The Affair far more interesting than the affair itself. As the show has progressed... I have to agree with him, especially after this episode.

What we haven't seen of the eight weeks with Noah and Alison must be plentiful, as right now it appears not only is the affair over, but there are plans on both ends to make a go of their marriages.
