It is a war that has affected many forces and is a great Cybertronian war. During this Great War, the Autobots and Decepticons landed on Earth differently. Perhaps millions of years later, it will be different when geological activity resurrects warring factions that have been so long. Perhaps there will be another war where the Decepticon wants to strip the land of its vast resources, but Otobot offers other sacrifices to protect the inhabitants of the earth from this dangerous fate.

Even though the Transformers franchise has now moved way beyond the products, the series holds up well. Yes, the animation is very clunky by today's standards, but the transformation effect never gets old.

Sure, it's all based on plastic toys that break easy and covet high sticker prices on convention room floors, but it is a mainstay worth exploring.

The only bad thing about the 16 episodes is that they end all too quickly. Leaving me wanting, nay NEEDING more.
