Jibril Ali Goodman was born in Philadelphia April 2, 1985 in Philadelphia Pa. He is the eighth and last child by his father Jimmie Murphy who is a business owner and mechanic in Philadelphia, and he is the second oldest of five children by his mother Michele Goodman who was a CNA.
