McCartney grew up in New York City where he attended Trinity high school. Michael is a well known stage actor. He starred Off-Broadway in 'Warriors', the famous anti-war play and in LA in "It Is Done". His scene at the end of the movie, Halloween: Resurrection (2002), is truly frightening and shows the range of this formidable actor - who can go from leading man to character actor in a quick moment. His comedy work was also well known first seen as a sketch player on Late Night with Conan O'Brien.
