Covert Affairs - Season 1
A series of consecutive events tells about a CIA intern named Annie Walker. Walker begins her field work amid a range of exciting issues, and because of her language skills and outstanding abilities she has been promoted and placed on tasks that seem very difficult. The career path is shifting to a path that seems more dangerous and risky and it has to work to accept all these tasks without any real training. She must rely on her intuition in her interest in directing the military intelligence agent named Aggie Anderson, who will become the only assistant to Annie in the next phase.

Piper Perabo is perfect in the role. Eerily, she even resembles Jennifer Garner to an extent, as it's impossible not to make comparisons to Alias.
July 23, 2010
Covert Affairs is a zippy character study, and it puts Perabo's features to playful use in the earliest moments of the pilot, filling the screen with them in a context where they're begging to be studied.
April 06, 2016
It's perfect summer television -- just turn off the excess brain cells and let Agent Walker do the seduction, and the shooting, for you.
December 13, 2016
I'm not ready to start the Piper Perabo Appreciation Society just yet, but she's surprisingly good in the role of Annie Walker, a fresh-faced CIA agent who's trying to put her past behind her and get started out with the agency.
July 23, 2010
USA promises "characters," and Annie Walker is all of that.
July 23, 2010
The mood is bright and whimsical.
December 13, 2016
Covert Affairs isn't as complicated as Alias, nor does it have the sci-fi/fantasy element that show had, but it does have promise and Annie Walker could be a nice addition to USA's stable.
July 23, 2010
If the CIA is even remotely like this place, we are all doomed.
July 23, 2010
It seems somehow more fitted for 1970 - maybe 1950 - than 2010.
