Grantchester - Season 2
There is more of the strong drama we are experiencing during the second season, which looks different. Jordi's plans are even more frustrated when Sydney's old flame, Amanda Hopkins, arrives in Manchester, while Guy is out of action. On the other hand, after Margaret's recent visits to the prosecutor's office, Ms. Maguire's withdrawal began.

Grantchester deserves to be noticed and possibly even thanked for the rare calm it adds to the increasingly noisy TV landscape.

I think it's safe to say that Grantchester isn't a mystery show anymore. It's a straight up morality show.

The setting's squares and spires looked suitably dreamy. Grantchester feels more like a Sunday night drama than a Wednesday one: cosy, nostalgic and gently compelling. Norton but nice.
