Moonlighting - Season 2
The second season begins when a mysterious veiled woman asks David and Maddy to find the man who mutilated her twenty years ago at her wedding. It seems that the reason is that she wants to be able to marry him. During this time, she learns through a semi-friend suicide from which her embezzled accountant escaped. It seems that he had traveled immediately after him in order to access the money.

It didn't take Nostradamus to predict that Willis had a future as a movie star, just as it's apparent that Shepherd's glory days were behind her.... Nevertheless, the show hits its stride in the second season.

While most detective shows riff on Hitchcock at some point, Moonlighting riffs on Brian De Palma, the guy who riffs on Hitchcock the best.

Shepherd won a Golden Globe... and no embarrassment of award riches would be enough to commemorate their pairing, which could well be the greatest example of onscreen romantic chemistry ever, or at least certainly on a par with Tracy and Hepburn.

Sometimes revisiting a once-beloved TV series can be a letdown... Fortunately for Moonlighting, which aired on ABC from 1985 to 1989, that's not the case.
