But considering the dream team of writers Marvel assembled for this project... it's often frustrating that Ultimate Spider-Man isn't a stronger, more cohesive, and more dramatically ambitious show.

There's a lot to like about the show though, and the third season gave fans an awesome storyline involving Donald Glover taking on the role of Miles Morales.

Totally different than anything that came before it, Disney's Ultimate Spider-Man is like a cross between Family Guy, Deadpool, and the movies of the MCU.

There's potential for a great Spider-Man cartoon in this show, but the creators seem content with "fine" rather than "excellent."
